Device control phrases

Each device type has a specific set of phrases. The user can control the device using these phrases without specifying the device name.

Phrases:

  • Yasmina, turn on the outlet.

  • Yasmina, turn off outlets in the room.

Where can I find all voice commands?
To open the full list of voice commands:
  1. Open the  Yango Play app.
  2. Select the desired device in the list of devices.
  3. Go to the Device section at the bottom of the page.
  4. Tap Device.

Specifics of use

  1. In the  Yango Play app, the user can change the device type from devices.types.socket to devices.types.light . This will enable voice commands for light. Example: a regular floor lamp is plugged into the smart socket.

  2. If the socket contains several slots (a triple adapter), we recommend that you describe each socket slot as a separate device devices.types.socket device.
